IN 2006 Mark Carhart and Raymond Iwanowski seemed like magicians. I remember reading some article about the fund and about these guys. Then Quatt – it was something completely not from this planet.
Very skeptical about quantifiable alpha search. Think, that a person selling such a fund or a crook, or fooled (but there is still an option for pure scientific curiosity).
But for these guys I would be glad if they survived (they left in 2009) and I would be glad if this fund survived (still did not survive).
