NO NEED TO STUDY FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Became known, that Microsoft is currently working on a revolutionary translation system, allowing to recognize the user's voice, and then speak the translated text with this voice.

It is worth noting, that similar solutions already exist, however, they all use an impersonal computer voice. In this case, a 3D avatar of the user with his own voice will communicate in a foreign language. In this way, people can “communicate” in other languages, without studying them.

Developers claim, that the program needs about an hour of "communication" with the user, to remember all the nuances of the pronunciation of a particular person. At the moment, the system is already “knows” 26 languages, including English, Chinese and Spanish.

Speech recognition capabilities are being introduced into the system under development. (similar to “talk mode” in Google Translate) – for that, so that users do not have to manually enter text for translation.

Microsoft believes, that this application will be primarily useful for travelers, however do not specify, when it becomes available for commercial use.
