Stops in the sense, in which everyone understands, ie. in points.
I can't have them by definition, because i trade formations. And not you, what are written in the books.. but more on that later. Separate topic.
I just mean it, what if i trade formations, then after opening a position, I wait for the implementation of a certain scenario. And if it doesn't happen – then there will be a different scenario, whom I do not know,(which means, what even if i guess the vector – I do not know where to fix the profit, and where loss. Therefore, it is better to just go to the cache.) It happens, that I know the opposite scenario, in this case I roll over..
THEREFORE! I close the position only then, when I understand that it is not my scenario that is being implemented. There must be some kind of candles, whose appearance makes my supposed picture impossible. Ie. if there is such a moment on the chart, in which the drawing of my formation becomes unnatural and unlikely – i close. And it doesn't matter, in profit or at a loss. The price may not even change at all, and I will know, that it's time for me to go out)
And if so, how can my feet be in points?))))) Formations are always different… And on different timeframes… With different takes. In some, the goal – 500-1000P, and in others 3000p +. Because of the formations, not only take take is different, but the very retention of the position in time. For example, sometimes my take is not in points, and in time intervals.
And besides everything else, I trade a different number of lots.. Ie. maximum allowable loss in points at 20 and at 60 lots will be different, agree.. And I always open with a different number of lots, depending on the formation.
И потом.. constantly changing market volatility. Now, if you had a stop in points, it would be the same in 2008 and 2010?))) Of course not..
Since with all this, I may have a certain stop in points? This is simply not possible.. and finally I don't understand how you can trade with this at all. Always closed only then, when I realized I was wrong.
