Hello, my friends! The day was not the most beautiful – the market was trading in a chaotic and multidirectional manner. There were very few trending and net stocks. Day summary: Dow +0.34%, Nasdaq +0.29%, S&P-500 +0.38%.

I had no intraday trading: leaving from Friday the ILMN shorts from level 28.93, I fixed + 85 ¢ profit in the first minutes of trading, and also did 20 cents at the very beginning of the session on the sale of the IYM fund, what was on my sheet. Thus, having fixed + 105 ¢ profit in the first 3 minutes of trading, I decided not to take any more risks on this day. As it turned out – very correct, since this would clearly not be my type of market.

One of the participants in our chat at the very beginning of the session drew attention to the MCLN paper, which moved very attractively, and there were rich opportunities in it, however discipline is discipline – i closed terminal, when I decided to keep profit and not trade anymore. At some moments, looking at the aforementioned paper, I was sorry, however when appreciated the whole market as a whole, understood, that I did the right thing, without breaking your own rules.

Today at 10:00 NEW, a whole bunch of important economic statistics is expected in half an hour after the opening. A very violent reaction is expected at this time., not recommended to be in positions. Most likely, this news will be the main driver on the market., at least, some time.
