in the morning I read it with surprise, that the `` Nobel in Economics has gone to the practitioners ''. OK, I know little about Hansen, but he is clearly not a practitioner. Schiller on 5% can be called such (he had a company that launched ETFs on real estate), but no more than. Fama is especially not a practitioner.. and then it dawned on me :) prize given for 'empirical analysis of asset prices', of course! empirical analysis is done by who? right, practices!
smile and wave :)
reminded a little-known, but one of the most ingenious sketches of Monty Python.
