Two and a half years (second half 2011 years and whole 2012, 2013) — the most difficult period for diversified futures trend tracking systems, perhaps, for all time. Many became desperate and gave up this occupation., deciding that the era of trend tracking is over, a new era has begun, and now prices will always fluctuate in ranges.
But everything returns to its normal circles in the past 2014 year trends began. While they continue in 2015 year. And they, who did not give up this occupation, were richly rewarded. Almost all trend-following systems came out of the drawdown and rushed to new tops.
