from today I connect swing trading.
it is necessary for redistribution and balancing of risks and profitability. I have repeatedly noticed on daily charts, that some intraday breakouts gave rise to some trend for several days. in this case, the profitability is balanced – in case of not very successful intraday trading, you can compensate the result with a swing position.
some criteria, immediately come to mind :) :
1. minimum 3 days in the range by daily, more – better
2. breakout day volumes from the range – I take into account.
3. previous trend – I take into account.
4. false breakouts from a range increase the likelihood of movement in the opposite direction (doжиi – Okay).
5. stop under the bottom of the breakout day (and vice versa for shorts).
6. stop trawling with your hands.
7. entries closer to the end of the session. somewhere with 23:30 in Moscow time I look at the strength of the signals and make decisions.
8. looking at the ticker reporting calendar, so as not to fly into unexpected gaps.
