Plot
The action of the series takes place in the center of New York - the world of big and not always clean money, unlimited power and possibilities, who can only be envied. Financial genius and billionaire Bobby Axelrod (Damien Lewis) he achieved everything himself and does not hesitate to use his wealth, buying up companies and luxury real estate right and left. This state of affairs categorically does not suit Southern District Attorney Chuck Rhodes (Paul Giamatti), who is eager to catch Bobby in a fraud and put him in jail. After another scandalous acquisition of Aks, the prosecutor gives the go-ahead to his subordinates, and they start hunting. But not everything is so simple, after all, the favorite of the public and the most reputable investors has already become so influential, that his retaliatory moves can greatly ruin life not only for Rhodes himself, but also to his whole family. The situation is complicated by the fact, that the prosecutor's wife works as a staff psychologist at Axelrod's company, which means, dedicated to the secrets of all its employees. Chuck understands, that the stakes in this game are too high, and its consequences can be irreparable, but an irresistible desire to move up the career ladder forces him to put his impeccable reputation on the line and engage in a desperate battle with a young and full of strength opponent.
