Say, that the market has grown, which means it was directional and trendy.?
BUT.. on what timeframe? On annual charts – I agree .. The growth that was – could only take the full, who Bought 1 once and sat half a year.. maybe the whole year. Ie. Buy&Hold. For these comrades, it may be so.. But personally, I do not work on such timeframes and do not hold a pose for half a year.. I have swing trading.. Or within a week or one or two maximum (mostly).. and trading on these timeframes it is impossible to take all this movement.. because. you would have to constantly go in and out of position and you would simply be sawed.. 99% all inputs in the saw..
My timeframes were mostly sideways, despite, that we ended up out of range..
I'm not an option specialist, but probably more could have been earned by selling volatility, than directed trading, both up and down.. during the year. And that means to me, that there was no movement.. and it doesn't matter with what result we closed the year..
In the end - yes, there was movement… but that's only 5 shock growth day.. for the whole year))) I remember a couple more drums to fall. дней.. That's the whole year.
