Who knows.. computer networks.?

There is a remote network with a router. I'm trying to connect to it via VPN. I also have a router on my side.
Created VPN connection on iPhone and laptop, connecting well, get IP addresses, but for some reason a subnet mask on a laptop 255.255.255.255 on iphone 255.255.255.0, when determining the external IP after connection, both the iPhone and the laptop show the external IP of the remote computer.
I run the program from the laptop, which can only be launched from the internal network of the remote computer, and writes from an iPhone, that I am not on the network of the remote computer and the program does not start.
