Who is your authority in trading / investing?

Hello, friends!
Personally, I have always been impressed by the spirit and thoughts of Jesse Livermore. But modern investors and traders do not evoke any emotions..

Buffett is good, but ... xs

Now someone will definitely say, that “I'm on my own, I don't need idols ". But I don't think this opinion is correct.. We come into the world clean and rely on the experience of our predecessors. People, who claim, that they are on their own and think only with their own heads they declare in essence, that ignore all the previous experience of mankind, which is not true anyway.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with having an idol - it motivates, it strengthens self-confidence, allows you to adopt the positive traits of your hero and not repeat his mistakes. In fact, your idol should urge you to improve..

I will make a reservation in advance, that we are not talking about those idols, chosen by the sectarians, disabling reason and logic.

Do you have any idols in trading / investing? If so, why exactly he / they became your role model?
