Suspected one broker of terrible execution of orders at the opening of the session. It's not the first time I've noticed. Therefore, I sat now for two hours and checked the discrepancy between the execution price and the official opening price of the session with different brokers.
Really, almost all of the orders executed by this broker were significantly worse than the open price. Here is a typical example of today's execution of closing a position at the opening of a session., minute timeframe. It just so happened that I closed IMPV shares with three brokers at once. Two brokers closed as expected, and this one, as always in the worst case.
All in all, checked 27 last executions of orders at the close of the session and received that the average discrepancy with the official opening price is as much -0,50%. In other words, for every 10K of position value, $50.
For comparison, I checked by 27 last executions of orders from other brokers and received a discrepancy -0,025% And -0,086%. And that almost always coincides with the opening price of the session, only a couple of cases of discrepancy. And for this one, all orders are filled worse than the opening price. The execution of the broker is almost an order of magnitude different.
Guess what broker like this and what to do with it?
