Bearish period: eurusd, oil, wheat, pound, yen, indices

Often write and ask about, where will the euro go, oil, etc.. Therefore, I will express my point of view at the moment on a number of instruments. В приципе, everything is now tied to the dollar, so that the forecast for the dollar, taking into account the known correlation, makes it possible in parallel to assume the most probable development of events for all instruments, with the exception of some distinctive… so: […]

about how indexes are weighed

(economic meaning of the index – it's a very dubious concept, the meaning of which is a function of the significance of the stock market in each case; Nevertheless..)

MSCI has a group of world / regional indices, where country / region is not weighted by capitalization,
and by GDP. получается то, what happens (IMHO, it is simply a more convenient product to sell as an underlying asset for funds / derivatives).

Iron ore pricing war

Toy from FT (the picture painted by me is clickable).

on this screen price indices: blue – ŽR, red – steel.
and) only I saw a nice guy there?)
b) sometimes it seems, that the optimism for the second half of the year is rather related to the idea of, that steel prices will go up again (well it is more like Yes, underneath this all there is a continuation of active recovery, etc., but (again sometimes) it seems that the thought does not reach this part of the logic).

Panic-sell.

Hmm, our Asian friends spoiled the technical picture today. Overseas, too, did not remain in debt, pour that day in a row. Support test again, and again the question is rhetorical: “punched, not punched”. If last time I was on 95% Convinced, that such an important level will be kept, I doubt very much today. Maybe not now, but… What pleasantly surprises, so is the resilience of our market. If you look in the medium term, to s 1200 we still, in uptrend, although today we have implemented some kind of GiP, really clumsy. What is the reason for such persistence, not quite clear. Previously, we would have traded on 1200, and even lower, and now they clung to, like Dax. Obviously, there is some kind of global revaluation, redistribution of cash flows. The fact that our indices have become increasingly raked with S in recent months&P500 – fact.

These are usually abbreviations or short names. (International Business Machines — IBM), abbreviations or truncations of names (Microsoft — MSFT, RAO UES of Russia - EESR). Numeric and alphanumeric tickers are commonly used on Asian exchanges, adapted for international trade. For example, Toshiba ticker on the Tokyo Stock Exchange - 6502.
